Tuna Linguine

Sometimes, simplicity is best, and this recipe is a perfect example of how just a few ingredients can create a delicious meal. It’s a specialty of my dad’s, and it reminds me of home, always. Plus, it pairs perfectly with my 2022 Sauvignon Blanc!

INGREDIENTS

  • 16.5-ounce can white tuna packed in water

  • 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • Juice of one lemon

  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 3/4 lb. linguine

  • Capers, to taste

DIRECTIONS

Boil pasta according to package. Drain tuna and add to small bowl. Break up the tuna into pieces and add the oil. Combine with lemon juice, parsely, capers, black pepper, and salt. Toss with pasta and serve immediately.
